That is probably the most heart filled response I have ever received, thank you so much.

Thank you for being, and for having strength and courage through out the years. Without you, I think it's safe to say, I wouldn't be here!!

much love, me ~

David thank you for your art. I find myself drawn to it. Lookiing at one piece for long periods of time. I agree that at moments I find myself feeling some anxiety. But this only leads to my going deeper into your art/my feelings brought to surface from it. I know this may sound foolish, but I honestly feel as if your art is somewhat theraputic for me, as in my mid-forties, I experience feelings/emotions I have long since supressed for whatever reasons life gave me. I believe I have found more peace within myself after surrendering to my inner being that is awaken by your art. I remember laughter with no reason, I feel the confusion I had long ago supressed but continued unknowing to myself to plagued me, it surfaces and then surrenders to me now, no longer holding me captive. This all sounds corny I am sure, but I know by the art you create that you know what I am trying to convey. All I can say is 'thank you' for art that gives me a journey that sometimes leads back to myself and closure for things that were never really let go, and for release of the child in me that I had long since lost touch with.

No offense taken Bill, we all have our own reality tunnel so it is different strokes for different folks, especially in the world of art, it is a bit more liberal.

To be honest, my work deals greatly with the communication and integration of incoming data, i.e. visual, to convey a 'movement' so to speak, within the individual, often, to arise a deeper conscious. This is nearly automatic, given the nature of the nervous system and our minds.

So if my work gave you anxiety, use it as a positive happening, find out why you had anxiety. We can agree that anxiety is a lack of balance right, which is the essential definition for disease, so use the realization to go deeper into the resistance and figure out just why it is that an external-visual object could draw such strong and frightening states of conscious out of you.

Ponder, if the shadow was surfacing.

If that is the case, kudos to the work.

If not, there still was something to be learn here, for the both of us.

Thanks, spiral out my friend ~ MDP

No disrespect to David or his art, but these images really disturb me. They're like my bad dreams after too much Mexican food, or a fever dream, very disorienting. Maybe they're intended to be anxiety-inducing, or maybe that will be news to others.

Anyway, good on ya David for sticking with pencil! (and never mind hypersuggestive old kinesthetic people like me).

Hi!
Thank you for your very well made site.
I live in Brazil and here it'd kind of difficult to find this pencils, but one of the biggest Faber-Castell's manufacturing is situated here, so we have "the brazilian version" of almost all faber castell pencils(9000, 2001...), and we have many brazilian brands too( almost all are a little bit too cheap), if you are interested about this pencils just send me an email and I can send them too you...
