Yeah, these are nice. I’ve seen some of his work before and some is brand new it appears. I’ve probably had 15-20 people e-mail this to me in the last couple of weeks.

Wowzers! I’m something of an old pencil stub fan (yes, it’s probably documented somewhere in the psychiatric literature) and have just found your blog while searching for Paper-mate American Naturals (my favourite pencils on the planet, though sadly not available, as far as I know, in the UK). This alphabet is stupendous! So glad you located it! I look forward to further astounding pencil-related discoveries c/o Pencil Revolution.

  3. I’m not positive, but I think that PaperMate American Naturals are no longer available anywhere, since the company closed their American pencil plant. I wonder if they’ll sell the name? It’d be a shame to see them disappear and very nice to see them return to cedar-casing under a new manufacturer.

I have a gross of New Old Stock Empire Indelible pencils. They are round, purple, untipped 703-U. Would you be interested? I saw in an older post that you found indelible pencils expensive and hard to find….Contact me at my e-mail if interested.
